Self-Advocacy means speaking or acting for yourself.  It means deciding what is best for you and taking charge to get it.  It means standing up for your rights as a person.

Self Advocacy Goal Setting

The Goal: Clearly and Simply describe what you want to do
The Steps: Begin Planning and Working.
  1. Describe the steps you need to take to reach your goal.
  2. Who needs to Help You
  3. Dates steps are to be accomplished
  4. What did you learn from each step you tried or accomplished?

Come to a Self Advocacy Meeting and set some goals with a group!
